Spyderco legal switch?

Post by Milu »

I heard a story today that Spyderco has made some small fixed blades with a sheath that slides back into the hilt. There was a knife like this some years back, I think it was called the future knife by L. Hellen but my memory may be confusing it with something else. Does any one recall the original?

Tekna [and others] have made this type of knife. They have never set any sales records with this design. It is interesting but after a couple of "clicks" the novelty wears off. You realize it's just a complicated fixed blade after playing with it for a minute or two.
