I have the short Carbine in 6.5x55 GREAT Gun
Rapid, years ago I had a bunch of different bayonets. One day, for the hell of it, I tried fitting them to my dad's Jap army rifle. Lo and behold, one of them locked in perfectly. And I'm not sure, but I think the one that fit was an American made bayonet? Anyway, point being, you may get lucky and find various bayonets will work with your gun.

Here's a coupla links -
http://www.SportsmansGuide.com
http://www.CheaperThanDirt.com
http://www.eKnifeworks.com
All of the above ( eKnifeworks most often ) has bayonets
in their inventory for reasonable prices ( eKnifeworks for $20-
$30 or so ) also get their "800" numbers off their websites
by clicking on "contact us" ( or some have them posted right
on their webpages ) edit : check out the 2nd page of
"bayonets - hard to find & at low prices" on eKnifeworks.com -
the Swedish Mauser bayonet is there for $28.99

Thanks for the links Blood_drinker,
I contacted eKnifeworks but the shippings a killer ,$25.50 on the slow boat and a shit load of paperwork to fill out.
I also have to send paper copies of my credit card statement and there may be additional charges WTF???
Some US sellers are charging rediculous shipping costs ,the last stuff i got from Brownells was only one quarter of the total cost by the time i paid all the fee's and shipping.
I can get a Martin compound bow ,arrows and accessories ,all in a hard case shipped for $50.00 and it ways much more than 1 bayonet.
I will check the others and hope something comes up.
Cheers
