best Steel ? . . . .I would think a stainless,
best knife, for deer hunting, a folding skinner with a second blade gut hook.
Something lightweight, because you'll be carrying a dead deer.

When it comes to hunting knives, there are a lot of different steel options, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Some of the most popular choices are 440C, VG-10, S30V, and D2. You can find them on sale at brownells promo codes. Ultimately, the best steel for your hunting knife will depend on your needs and preferences, such as how you plan to use it and how often you're willing to sharpen it.
