For the money they are decent. The Dieter is big and has a good rep. Each knife was originally designed by one person into knife fighting. Their is a Keating,Watson,Garciala not sure I remember her name and a fixed by Asyoob and others that I don't recall who designed. I think at first there were 7 I don't know what kind of line up they have now. They came manual and coil.

Due to it's thin blade the Ayoob has been knicknamed the Ayoob "steak knife" but rumor is it works well. The Ladyhawk is quite small but any "hook blade" can raise hell if used properly.

I've got a Keating Hornet, it spent a lot of time in my pocket. For
all it is, I thought it was overpriced. It's a little on the small side for
me & I thought the spring lacked some kick, but I'd give it a 6 or
a 7 out of ten. It spends it's days & nights in the rack, been replaced
by my Benchmade 5000.

I read in Blade today that MOD was sold to Black something anyone? But it went on to say they will be introducing a lot of new models.

Decent is about the best I've heard ; KBR ( a Spyderco.com
forum-ite as well 8) ) mentioned in a phone conversation that the
quality doesn't justify the price. And I've noticed eknifeworks.com
has the LadyHawk for about $150 or so. ( it was over $200
when it first went into production  )

If you buy one, go with eknifeworks.com or BestKnives.com.

I have manual and auto MoD. I would describe mine as excellent quality. I don't know if that has changed since Blackhawk industries bought them. I would describe Spyderco as much better value for money but that MoD offered better quality (a very subjective term). In my opinion MoD is superior to Microtech.
