A great website or two

Postby ILikeStilettos » Sun May 07, 2017 10:49 pm

My dear friend, Eric, rock-n-roll$$$$$$, tipped me off to this fabulous website, which among other things had some very detailed comments about switchblades in the movies.

http://www.stiletto-italiano.com/eng/index.htm

The one about "Eye of the Needle" pointed to more details here (scroll to the bottom of the first page):

I will be exploring this one as a design exercise with hopes that it can be built.

Thanks for the links. May not get to them for a bit but, at first glance, they look interesting. May provide a new source for information and new members.

I haven't had a chance to explore it yet, but it has some really neat stuff. When I posted this on the other forum everyone seemed to concentrate strictly on the "needle" and how inaccurate the information was. It's generally full of interesting information, but it looks like JerryK is the knowledgeable guy on the needle.

Cool links Dave

I love that film" the needle" but i have never seen the knife so close up .
I hope you can work your magic on the design and get one built .
It really is a cool off with an assisting opening spring( like my bonsa trapdoor )by the looks of things.

I hope all's well mate.
Take care
Ian

On the Stiletto-Italiano site you need to fill out an email thing to send. There are no prices on their items, that I can see/find.
