Auto. Buck110 look alike.

Post by AMDAZ »

:x Went to a watch+ knife shop a few weeks ago. Been wanting to check it out real close to home. Any way one knife really stood out A china made size copy of bucks 110. A auto convert .
The button was the large. Type.A bit loose not nice + tight. DID NOT CARE for it.I think asking was 148.00. Why go put money +labor in a knife of that quality. WHO KNOWS. Must have taken some time to do the convert. Any way not knocking the store nice knives. Any seen these around. Or info.

Those Buck clone fakes can be had for under $40....http://www.dhgate.com/product/buck-110- ... 74613.html

The real Buck 110's can usually easily be found for under $150.

Buck 110s are all made in the USA and they always have been. The China sites sell counterfeits. The boxes, knives and sheaths are all counterfeit. The Buck forum in Bladeforums.com has photos of the fakes for your amusements.

However, Buck is producing the 0110BRSA-B factory AUTO in 2017. MSRP $200, minimum advertised price $139.99. Blade HQ has a blurb on their site right now. There is a pic, from the dealer catalog, posted to the auto forum on blade forum. I will try to post one here if you like.

I read about the Buck 110 auto being produced by Buck; that's an awesome move on their part. The firing button looks like it's reset deeply into the handle. Well, I guess it won't need a safety.

Wow, that really is a factory auto from Buck. I have always heard they were opposed to the mass conversions of their 110s and 500s. I guess they finally decided they weren't going to beat so they might as well get in on it.

I'd like to hear from anyone who might have played with one of these ones.

And what is with the sear hole to the left of the USA stamp? It looks weird.

Here is a short video of the Buck 110 automatic being worked at this year's S.H.O.T. show in Vegas for your viewing pleasure (I like the action): https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Fk7mxZTM4tE

I see the sear hole on the blade on that video knife is fully drilled out.

I'd like to get a look inside that Buck made auto. I wonder if the button set-up is the same as the converted ones.
