It had not been a good day from the start and that seemd to be the final kick in the teeth, however I went to my favorite gun shop and came back $200 and one 1895 Styer [Straight-pull bolt] richer and three kinves poorer. [I love the Styer but the one I already had has a rough bore, and the new one is almost mint].

Sat. I was cutting some things to load for the flea market. Between cuts I would lay the MT on the roof of the Ford. When I finished I went in side, grabbed a coke off the kitchen table and went to the gun store. Halfway there I remembered the MT was on the Ford roof. [It was obviously long gone]. When I got home I checked the kitchen table [the only other place I'd been]. It wasn't there. At bedtime my girlfriend found the MT under her pillow. {I had not been in the bedroom and the door was closed while I had been outside working on stuff for the flea}. Just a bit "odd".

This does make me appreciate it more but it also raises the price on the one I have for sale at the flea. [If it's priced way too high no-one will buy it and I have a spare the next time mine is lost. Although in a couple of years "way too high" will be below market value they only made 200 of them].

Al
get that thing to an Exorsist fast cause you have a haunted knife from hell. If your girlfriend hadn't found it it would have found you in the night and buried itself in your heart "BBBBRRRRR" I get a chill just thinking about it.
