leg knife history

I am lookingfor info on lady leg knives. I do not know much bout computers and chat places, so have mercy on a red neckcountry boy. If someone could steer me in the direction of some history, I would be very content.

I know they date bact to [at least] the '50s
[I remember seeing then in drugstores, bach then].
And a search will find current examples, as well as so older ones.
