Everyday carry knife

Post by catavengercaptain »

This may have been brought up before but if so it's been awhile. What do you usually carry? I usually have a Spyderco Delica or sometimes the larger Spyderco Endura. Yars ago I carried a Buck 110.

Despite the [valid] advice, that Stilettos are not good everyday carry knives - my most usual EDC is a 9" AB Briarwood/Damascus flatgrind 8) I have used the he11 out of it :!:
Sure it is beat-up and a little loose but, it cuts like it should, holds an edge, even strikes a spark off flint [try that with stainless] "drills" over-painted fishing jigs, cuts darn near anything, etc, etc
If limited to only one knife, this would be it
In a "perfect world" a 10" heavy duty version would AWESOME :!: :!:

I have three that I alternate, a Schrade Special Tactical, a S&W Baby Swat and
a S&W assisted bayo blade otf. I like the Schrade the best, it is light weight and
razor sharp. I didn't pay more than $30.00 for any of them, so no big deal if they get lost. :)

I like to carry two knives: a small one for small jobs and a bigger one for, you guessed it, bigger jobs. Right now, I'm carrying a CRKT Koji Hara Ichi and a Cold Steel Voyager, large, with a clip point blade. I'm not a big fan of pockets clips; I usually remove them as soon as I get the knife. The Koji sits fine in that little "watch pocket" in the front of a pair of jeans and the Voyager can be found in the back pocket. Its slim profile makes it unnoticeable, even when I sit down. Highly recommend both knives.

In addition to the Stiletto, I always have a Swiss Army Knife with me
The various tools are all very useful, even if the main blade is only "so so", for any cutting

I carry a Buck Vantage now for the last few weeks, but I have a collection of about 60 different users that I switch around as EDC knives. My three long time pockets knives were a Kersahw 2420, a Sarco Rollx, and Weidmannsheil stag lockback....

I always have my Classic Swiss Army Key chain knife with the usual pen knife blade, scissors, pen and red led light. My EDC lately is a Puma Tec; it's small and very sharp and then whatever I'm in the mood to carry stiletto, leverlock, whatever.

If I carry an auto it is usually a stiletto clone (so I don't damage or scratch up a real one). I like the low end butterfly knives too. Something that will keep me entertained on the tractor or in the fields.

Cold steel knife - is the world strongest and sharpest knives.
Also you can use it in a combat as your self defense.

Piranha bodyguard, almost every single day...
-if I can't find my license (which happens from time to time), then I carry a balisong or my Camillus "lev-r-lok."
-If I'm wearing a suit, then I feel weird if I'm not packing a stiletto or swinguard!
