Republic Of Texas Knife Set

I have a set of two stainless steel knives with pearl handles (I have no idea if they are real) in a case. One knife has the label "Republic of Texas 1838-1845" on the blade and the other has a picture of the Alamo on the blade. The case has the label Taylor Cutlery. Both knives have the number 850 on the brass part of the handle. Any information/appraisal anyone can give would be appreciated.

Taylor made a lot of cheap collector's sets. Check ebay as they are on there all the time. On a new collector finds any value in them....
