Custom forum knives
Hello folks!
Lionsteel, one of the premier cutleries in Maniago, is cooperating with some online forums in order to provide high-quality custom-design and limited edition knives to members. Some examples, from other forums in Italy and Germany, are these:
Most knives are fixed blade, or lockblade.
If there's interest here on TalkBlade, Lionsteel would be happy to build custom knives based on user demand.
Comments welcome!
Thanks,
M.

What??? A Forum Knife that actually has great utility? That's crazy talk......
It certainly would be a departure. Let's hear more details about possible specs and pricing.

Hi!
You can ask for the specs you like best... once they're agreed upon, a cost might be estimated.

Re: Custom forum knives
Anyone that puchased one of the Outdoor 7" that I imporrted several years ago, knows that Lion Steel makes excellent knives close to [or equal to] "German quality'
So a "custom level" one should be VERY nice

Re: Custom forum knives
Fixed blade ? Folder ? Their "multi-tool" has minimal "tools" [less than most Swiss Army Knives] but looks VERY nice [An almost traditional "Toothpick"]
To make it more acceptable to Americans - Lose the "corkscrew" we just don't want/need/use them
Replace it with a very well designed scissors or [even better] a Philips head screwdriver
Grind the end of the saw flat [for use as a flathead screwdriver] then grind a small notch for use as a "hook-remover" MUCH more "multi" but still a very traditional but unique [one of a kind] knife

Re: Custom forum knives
I'm personally not too interested in fixed blades- I have a few, but my main interest is in folding knives.
The multitools are nice, but I also like the looks of the Pump lock, the Traditional and the Skinner.
Is there any chance that a custom forum knife could be an auto, or customized to be easily converted?
