fellow canuckians - how long?

Post by mrbigg »

hello comrades!

i am currently having some issues with a seller in the US, who has been advised by JOSH from BA/PVK that "normal" waiting times are between 20-25 days!!!!!!!!!!!!

with the sellers i normally deal with, this has NEVER been the case, it's been more like 4-7 days......

without divulging any sensative info, what has YOUR experience been?

I've had probelms before with Josh. An order never arrived, it turned out when he was cleaning his stock/shipping room my order was fell behind a shelf. I asked earlier if I could exchange my order once it came, well since it never did I got a more valuable knife and shipping that arrived in 3 days :D

edited to add: it was 3 months before he found it

Never bot from him but 20-25 days is bullshit no matter who your dealing with. Christ you can get something from overseas faster.

Usually between 1 to 2 weeks for US shipments. The longest i've waited was 3 weeks, funny enough also from PVK.

mr.bigg, I probably shouldn't be saying this... but it is sort of known on some other forums. Josh does have 2 kids, and in the past few months has had some priorities above his business as of late. I'm not sure about the situation as of now, but I most certain he is not screwing you over. Since this is a small forum when compared to a place like BFC, I am posting this publicly... although I strongly recommend people don't blab this around.

mr j-man,

he gave the advice that it's normal for a package to take 20-25 days to get to canada.

this has nothing to do with josh's way of handling his own business..

I've never had a problem with Josh. Since I live in NJ, I get stuff from him the day after he sends it. Sorry to hear your tales of woe.

thanks mr greyblade,

just to clarify things, i'm waiting from a package from someone else, NOT JOSH OR PVK, it's from someone else, and as of today, still no package, although i've been in touch with the seller, and all will be worked out one way or the other.....seems the "C" man has gotten involved with my manual socom.......so even though i haven't gotten great service from the seller, turns out everything that possibly could go wrong has......i'll let you all know how the cookie crumbles.....

nope....never did arrive, but the seller has done the right thing, and refunded me every penny and then some......

in the end, i'm sure it wasn't all his fault, just a situation where everything that could have gone wrong did.....live and learn. i would still recommend fellow canucks stay away from this seller, as i think the "C" man has his number

just PM me if you want details......
