ITALIAN(?) multiblade knife
I have two knives from my father and I was hoping to get more info on them or their manufacturers. There is little/no info I get from a google search. I am 40yrs old and I remember these knives from when I was a little kid.
One is about 2" closed and has DELFABBRO INOXID on one of the blades. It has short blade, long blade, screwdriver, can opener, scissors, corkscrew, and awl. It looks like bone/horn on the outside......
The other knife is about 3" closed and has TEJA&ROSA MADE IN ITALY on one of the blades. It has short blade, long blade, screwdriver, can opener, scissors, corkscrew, and awl. It looks like bone/horn on the outside......
Both of these knives look the same except for size
Any help I could get in figuring out manufacturer and price would be appreciated.

Re: ITALIAN(?) multiblade knife
I seem to remember "Swiss army Knives" with the Inox tang stamp. But I also remember them stating "Swiss Made". Perhaps this is a pre-merger company of "Victorinox" who currently makes "Swiss army" brand knives. It may be the same relationship that the "Italian made" Kissing Crane stilettos have.

Steve, I apologize that I cannot provide any information for you.
However, I wanted to say that your father has good taste.
That's a beauty.

"Inox" [and varieties of it] means stainless.79spitfire wrote:I seem to remember "Swiss army Knives" with the Inox tang stamp. But I also remember them stating "Swiss Made". Swiss Armies are also marked Victorinox or Wenger [the makers]
This knife is Italian [99% sure] No relation to Swiss Armies.
The "Inox" stamp on Swiss Armies [only] is a special spec. stainless.
On any other knife it [just] means any stainless.
"Victorinox" was the makers brand name, from his mothers name [Victoria] and Inox.
And yes it is a very nice knife
"Wild guess" the stamp means made of stainless.

Yes Vagrant, you are right; there are many little factories here in Italy who made knives like that and Del Fabbro, is known (here! )
INOX = stainless steel (INOXIDABLE)

Re: ITALIAN(?) multiblade knife
At one time I had a British knife that was stamped "Inoxsidable"trentinistefano wrote:Yes Vagrant, you are right; there are many little factories here in Italy who made knives like that and Del Fabbro, is known (here! )

I believe the Italian is "inossidabile" but I've never seen it on a knife
Rostfrei is German but I saw one that was stamped "Nicht Rosten"
I have a couple Italian knives stamped "Rostfrei" I assume this was intended [mostly] for a German spaeking market.

Re: ITALIAN(?) multiblade knife
trentinistefano.... thanks for help. Would have a list of italian knife companies that might have made these knives? I am trying to find out all of the info I can on them. Where they were made? Who made them? how much they cost? How much they're worth? etc....trentinistefano wrote:Yes Vagrant, you are right; there are many little factories here in Italy who made knives like that and Del Fabbro, is known (here! )

No, they are as marked. Latamas are marked "Latama."

Re: ITALIAN(?) multiblade knife
I just got a gift from a friend who gave me a pocket knive similar to that one you are talking about. It has TERA & ROSA MADE IN ITALY, printed at one side of the blade and INOSSIDABILE on the other. The father of my friend got it in Europe some time in the 50's.

Re: ITALIAN(?) multiblade knife
Your 3rd picture of a knives look like an army swiss knife because it has multi-blades. I'm sorry because i have no info with your other knife.
