I recently acquired this "cleaver". I was told it was an old butcher's tool. I cannot find any information on who made it it, the legible markings include a pig head, K&K and "Extra Quality 10". It has a interesting head with a "foot" that allows you to stand it on end.
Anyone have an idea about this thing?

Cool and wicked but I know nothing.

Looks like you can chop through a cow’s leg bone with one blow.
