As a budding "amateur" chef i am on the verge of spending some hard earned cash on a set of professional Knives.

Japanese made KASUMI keeps popping up ?

Does anyone have these knives ?,

any help much appreciated guys

Kasumi are great knives, but a little pricey. Have you looked at the shun line? Same steel, same City. Great knives also. Few more choices as far as blade shapes. Slightly less expensive. Good luck.
