Appears to be very similar to my older tang stamp. Spelled with a "J" (Jndiana). It's a good looking knife. Likely imported and distributed by Zoppis in Milan.. Possibly imported from Japan?

Sure looks decent quality. Has that “Rizzy-esque” look to it, especially with the bail. We do know that Zoppis distributed knives made in Maniago, but I’m not sure if they imported knives from all over(?) Certainly does look better quality than Japanese. Especially if the scales are horn, and bolsters nickel silver, which I can’t tell. The pins look nice and flush.

They were always marked with a "J."
Jindiana was not a maker, but a consortium of makers- a cooperative or wholesaler of Maniago cutlery from many makers.

It has a pleasing shape.
