Unknown Survival Knife: Any Ideas?

Postby BruceS » Tue May 09, 2017 6:35 pm

Anyone have an information on this knife. It is well made. Molded Polymer handle. Has File and Saw attachments that fit into the Pommel and are secured by the brass pin on the safety cord. Blade is marked "0005". Blade is 5.5". Sheath uses the 'Lift the Dot" fasteners like they use on canvas and old Jeep enclosures.

Thanks so much.

Bruce
I love these knives.
That is a Mikov or Czechslovakian survival knife ,police knife or paratroopers knife.
I would love one for bushcraft as it looks a real sturdy blade and has the saw that fits into the handle .
Love the sheath aswell an ultra cool knife ,thanks for sharing it here.

Ian,
Thanks. Until know I had no idea what it was. Glad I snagged it when I did. It was sitting on this guys table for months.
