Question for the mods?

Post by Xarathos »

Are there any limitations on what we can talk about in this section of the forum. By that I mean can we discuss free stuff, computer software and tech issues.

Great Question.

One Mod's View: As long as the posting suggestions are followed, and good taste coupled with common sense prevails, just about anything is fair game. If your topics get too far out, someone, and not just a mod, will be sure to point out the errors of your ways.

Bottom line is we have a libertarian (NOT libertine) approach to what we talk about here. :)

Good question :!: I would tend to post anything I'm not sure of in "Off Topic".

Sure, you can discuss anything as long it remains legal and doesn't break too much the posting suggestions. ;-)

Mr. Xarathos,

I was wondering if you might have any idea as to the average annual rainfall in the Gobi Desert, and what effect it may have on the mating habits of the Tibetan Yak.

Best regards,

All I know about Yaks :!:
Years ago there was one on the Rodeo Cicuit in the Bull Riding event. It was not considered dangerous since it would not try to kill you once it bucked you off. But [at the time] it had NEVER been ridden successfully :!:

A new contender for the title of the world's smallest book. "All I Know About Yaks".

Greetings, Mr. Doofus Emeritus-

The Tibetian Yak prefers to mount the Dhali's LLama, after an invigorating dip in fresh rainwater cistern in the Goober Desert.

Next Question?

AS ever,

Your ol' pal,

Xarathos,

Please forgive my mishandling of (something, I'm still not sure what). I'd intended to quote your question about the air speed of sparrows, give the standard Monty Python response, and let it go at that. Somehow I messed up your post, and ultimately deleted it.

Tom,

My post seems to be intact. Even if wasn't/isn't no harm, no foul. Accidents happen.
