Gun talk forum?
I noticed that sharperdeals has a forum for discussing guns. I'd like to see one here since a lot of knife enthusiasts are also interested in firearms.

I'm a participant in many gun forums.
Having one here would be nice. I have quite a bit of experience with guns.

At one time I had 23 hand guns, after I gave up the weed.

I have more guns than most gun stores.

I have owned around 25 handguns in my lifetime, not at once, mind you. I currently have ten. Six rifles. Four shotguns, one of which is antique and unsafe to fire.

I used to have a lot more but whittled down to mostly ones I actually use, except for a couple antiques that have sentimental value. Just like my knife collection.
As far as handguns I only have one 9mm and a half dozen rimfires. I do use my .22's often shooting critters around here.
The few friends I used to shoot with I can barely drag out to shoot clays or anything else once a year.
I have never owned an AR but have been trying to decide what I want. Probably be something budget or try a build. I'm not planning on anything fancy because I'm sure it won't get used much until SHTF. And then I'm sure I will be one of the first old fat guys shot...My Rambo days are behind me.

I'm a gun guy as well, handguns, rifles, and shotguns. I was at the range this morning.

Whippersnapper, my Ruger 10/22 has accounted for many raccoons, possum, and groundhogs on my property, as well as a few rabbits. The groundhogs got wise and started bolting as soon as a door was opened (you'd be surprised how fast those chubby little fuckers can run!) so I switched to my single shot 12 gauge for quick, moving target shots.

Seems I have a never ending supply of possums. The woodchucks I have kept under control but they always show back up.

I used to get groundhogs tunnel under my house, sprayed ammonia under the house and that ran them off. Poured some down the hole they dug to get under the house and so far they haven't came back. I live in town so I can't shoot them, dammit!

This works wonders on burglars and in-laws too.whippersnapper wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 3:17 am Seems I have a never ending supply of possums. The woodchucks I have kept under control but they always show back up.
