1 - Seven12: the new Forged Lever Lock
--------------------------------------

After the Forged Stiletto, Due Buoi unveils the Seven12: this is a
fully forged lever lock, which marks a bit of a departure from the
existing knives of the same kind.

Still, the like recalls the classic Italian design, so the product
combined cutting-edge construction technology and high quality of
materials with tradition and natural scales.

The body is made of fully forged AISI 420 steel, while the blade is
made of AISI 440 stainless steel treated to 56 HRc hardness.
The handle is currently available in the following materials: asian
buffalo horn, honey horn and black buffalo horn.

To get more information and order of these beauties, take a look at:

2 - 8" and 9"1/2 lever locks from Maniago are back, with some news
------------------------------------------------------------------

It's been a while since Maniago stopped producing the 8" and 9"1/2
lever locks, an automatic knife for which the town is quite
famous worldwide.

Now, thanks to new interest in these items, lever locks are back...
and with some news also! The bayonet blade features a new "smooth"
design, as you can see here:

The whole 8" selection is browseable (and buyable) at SKM:

while the 9"1/2 are also available at SKM:

3 - Blade Show 2013 in Atlanta is approaching
---------------------------------------------

The Blade Show in Atlanta is just a few days away. It's an event
which is not to be missed if you care about knives, as it's one
of the biggest in the world.

Moreover, several Maniago producers will be there (as DueBuoi's
Vito), so it's a great chance to meet them, see what's new
and have a nice and useful chat.

Everything about Blade Show is available on the official web site:

http://www.bladeshow.com/

The show begins on May 31 and ends on June 2.

5 - TalkBlade on Facebook
-------------------------

We're not big Facebook fans: not in the sense that we don't like
social networks, but we think forums provide a more focused and
in-depth discussion point compared to Facebook's "smalltalk".

Nevertheless we do have a Facebook page, so be sure to Like us:
