I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I received "Switch Blades of Italy" for Christmas and it is a great book, and has revived my interest in Italian pushbuttons. I will try to post some pictures of Boker and Hubertus leverlocks that I picked up over 20 years ago, they are still in pristine condition. I may try to attend the Blade Show this year, havent been since 2004. From the pictures that I saw on SharperDeal.com of the 2010 Show, it looks like there are alot more Italian stilettos at the Show, than I recall from my earlier visits, Thanks for this great site.

Very happy to hear the good news. Any time a knife enthusiast regains an interest is good news.
I hope to go to my first knife show in Atlanta this coming June.

Welcome aboard! I also recently bought Switchblades of Italy. I also have An Introduction to Switchblade Knives that I bought in 1984.

Also bought the book when it became 'affordable'/whatever that means. But at least I could afford it!
