Introducing Myself!

Hello - I'm been "lurking" for a while, and recently signed up. I've been crazy about auto knives for most of my 56 years. I've owned and sold many over the years, but my primary hobby was music and movies. I worked music retail for the last 20+ years, but was laid off almost 2 years ago, and still haven't found suitable work. I've been surviving by selling my huge collection of books, cds and dvds, etc. at Amazon and Ebay and The Steve Hoffman Forum <I go by "jsayers" there too> where music fans talk and can buy & sell stuff amongst themselves, a bit like here, I suppose.
Anyway, locked up in a box for quite a while now, I have 4 cherished and mint autos I've been hanging on to, but I simply must sell them now to survive, unfortunately. I'll probably post one or more in the next few days in the buy/sell column, but I didn't want to just jump in there without saying hello first.
By the way, I really enjoyed the "switchblades in movies" thread - I spent hours going through that - excellent stuff. Movies are probably one of the primary reasons that I have a fascination for automatic knives.

The "Movie Switchblades" thread has 32,275 hits with 934 posts so far. It is on it's way to becoming an epic thread.

Thanks! I actually used to come here a lot a while back, can't remember if I was signed up or not, then I hit a patch where I just got busy with other stuff. I like the forums here much better than any others I've visited!
