A new guy,

Post by Landau »

I figured it best to quit lurking and say hello.

Lots of great info on here, I hope to be able to put it to good use. I'd like to scratch build a stiletto style knife.

Thanks!

Hopefully being north of the 'no fun' line doesn't impact what could become a new hobby!

Hello Landau,
This is a great forum. This is the, "The web's most friendly community on knives and blades." Good luck on building a stiletto. There are lots of people here who can advise you on how to do it.

Welcome aboard :!: :!:

I have found this to be my favorite site. I've met a lot of nice people on this forum. When I was a new on this forum I figured I would get a lot of RTFM type of answers from the old-timers. Instead I have met a lot of the kindest people on this forum who will go out of there way to help. One way for sure not to do is ask a :?: and expect to get a answer right_away. Use search first and and in a day or two ask the same :?: again and ask if there is some pace else that might enable you to find what you wanted in the first place.
Good luck.
