NEW item: Classic Stiletto, by Due Buoi

Post by arthas »

Hi all!

Due Buoi just introduce its version of the Classic Italian Stiletto. It's just like the ones made by other producers in Maniago with some needed improvements such as Solid Bolsters and a better overall making (see pictures below).

You can get it on the Due Buoi official web site:

http://www.duebuoi.it/x/uk_usd/catalog/ ... -horn.html

For US$ 59.00. Shipping is another US$ 22.00 if you want the insured package or US$ 8.00 for the "if it gets lost, it's lost" option.

At present time is' only available in black horn with the dagger blade.

M.

These sound pretty nice and an excellent price! Could this finally be the beginning of a good/solid and affordable stiletto?

Button release with a locking tab? Wouldn't that be a bit awkward? Looks like a swivel release to me...

Looks like a solid knife atta good price, but the shipping & insurance is "killer!"

Hi all!

It's bolster release, but a picklock version is planned.

Very nice knife.
I like the solid bolsters alot. great price. It's going on my "to buy" list for sure! It says on the site that they will be available in 28 days.

This could be the quality classic Italian stiletto we've all been waiting for. And at a price that wont break the bank. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

This is another reason to be sad that Tiny Jr. is no longer with us, since he was able to provide us with Due Buoi's in the past.

Is it a two piece back/kick spring, or does it have the same one piece spring or even a coil??

I would love one of those, but will wait until it is available in the US. As Mr. JB points out, shipping and insurance are a killer adding a bit more than 50% to the cost of the knife
