Just wanted to say hello to all. My addiction with autos started when I was a kid after I saw an ad in a SOF magazine but I stopped purchasing them when I entered the military. Now that I'm retired (21 years AF) I started feeding my addiction again. My kids think I'm whacked because of my obsession but what else is new. A Mikov was my most recent purchase and it's my favorite so far but there are others on my radar as well such as a Bill DeShivs leverletto or a classic swinguard. I guess I'll have to get both of them .
I was reading an old post of how someone used to check his mail several times a day or listened for the delivery truck to pull up. Man, that brought back memories. I remember when I was 13 or so, I ordered my first NATO OTF auto kit that was C.O.D. I would wait everyday for the UPS guy to drive past my house. Well one day he did and I ran out the door with the cash in my hand to chase him down. Sure enough, he had my knife and the rest is history as they say.....Take care all.
