I don't always rush to join knife forums

Hello all from the oldegrouch.
Why oldegrouch?
Beause oldtoothlessbassmaster was 2 letters over the max for a user name.

Retired, but wife is still working from home so fishing, thrifting, scrapping, dumpster diving & estate sales
get me outta the house & more importantly away from the weekend crowds doing the same thing.

Favorite words in an estate sale ad...PICKERS DELIGHT!

EDC - in the 1900's I wore out a bunch of Swiss Army knives named "The Tinkerer" & by 1999 went
full time Leatherman Titanium.

So what am I doing here?

A very recent unexpected find in a desk drawer, behind the pens & paperclips, on the last day of a "PICKERS DELIGHT" estate sale gave
me a need to do some deep forensic searches on "LATAMA" Made in Italy

TalkBlade.info was among the top hits and a further search on the home page showed over 4,375 hits on just "LATAMA" alone.

Among some of the 1st threads I started to read, 1 statement really sunk in:

"DO NOT SHARPEN IT, DO NOT POLISH IT, DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BLADE PIVOT,
Oil it but do not get oil on the horn scales.
When closing it, press the button. . .do not let it "click" when squeezed closed."

To be Continued

Hi.Post the knife in one of the forums and I'll give you information on it. It's rare, and it's valuable.

Thank you all for welcome replies.

Hello Bill, I have been reading up on this one almost a week and yes I have seen some wild numbers. The pictures have gone live over on the Switchblade channel.
