Some of us remember these days, and probably ordered from this list, I know I did.

Oh the good old days. Stu sold me the majority of my first switchblades when I first got started. I often think about him and hope he is doing well.

Stu was the best and he got a lot of orders for me! The good old days, gone but not forgotten. Not just knives but everything.

He has a web site. You probably could google stu711 and find it.

You are right Sam. Seems like I had tried in the past and been unsuccessful but I found it now.
https://stu711.com/

He mostly has cheaper OTF knives and odds and ends. I tried a test buy to see how far I could get and it wouldn't let me finish. I didn't try the contact email but it is the same from 20 years ago.

The custom fileworked Buck 110 conversion for $64 is pretty cheap=If it isn't one of the clones.

Thanks for posting this Mr jim d.
I remember the 'Good Ones' list, and bought from Stu, Cam and many others. Bought from Tiny too, and Think HDC was on there but maybe he was added later. So many others..Bob? and..? All were good people to deal with, miss Stu's old site and glad he's still there in whatever form it is. Always seemed like a feisty dude to me, but in the right way so respected that.
Would be fun to see the 'Good Ones' list updated and posted, but not sure if there's much point in that anymore with the internet (plus all the social media, which I hate). Probably more fun to see a copy of one the old 'Good Ones' list posted in a thread like this.
Just wanted to say I appreciated your post.

Stu was the best ! Bob T from Brooklyn is still around. Cam is too. Ala John I don't see anymore and Rick passed away. Barry Adams is still around too. Stu was a whole seller to many dealers. There was a point in time that he dramatically increased his prices and the thought was the dealers he sold too couldn't complete with his prices to the general public.

Thanks for the memories Furcs and Tom.I believe I bought from everyone you mentioned. The old "good ones" thread was deleted a few years ago. It had become archaic. Honestly, I almost wish I never started it, as it was quite the aggravation. I was constantly receiving complaints about who was and who was not on the list. It was a classic manifestation of "you can't please all of the people all of the time". Overall, I think it served its purpose, albeit at an aggravation to me :D

The "good ones list" is still here and wasn't deleted. It just got unstickied and dropped down. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1733&p=28862&hilit=rayjay#p28862
