1st Year Production PROTOTYPE of the Model 68 Utility Folder Bali-Song Knife. In 1983 when Bali-Song Knife Company changed to Pacific Cutlery they introduced a new butterfly knife called the Model 68 Utility Folder. It was a shortened knife measuring 7.5" open, and 4.375" closed. The skeletonized handles were made of Swedish Surgical Stainless Steel. The surgical stainless steel 154cm blade measures 3 1/2" and is only factory sharpened. The ricasso has the Butterfly etched on one side, and Bali-Song U.S.A. on the other. There is a small sticker on one of the handles that is written #4 of 12. It comes in the original box (somewhat tattered). The knife remains in pristine mint unused condition. Also accompanies it is the Cocoon Scabbard that came with the knife. There is the original 1983 brochure and pricelist to go along with it.
