Post by warbird »

Hi hope your all doing well !!
this is # 6 of the Sam Polk signature knifes it is the first one of the customs made by Burn for Latama...1-5 were 11" old school an 6-10 could be custom anyway you wanted them so i had this one made 13" I think the only 13"er but not 100% sure on that... the specs are as follows 13" over all....Weight : 8.57 oz ...Steel : blade from premium 440c blade steel, one pce.spring is W-1 spring steel....Mechanism: plunge style mechanism, leaf spring return....Liners: a whoppin extra thick .090" ... 410 stainless steel with wrap around file work an engraved 2009 inside liner.....Bolsters: solid hand carved nickel silver 7% sterling content.with Maltese filed lock tab / pick lock.....Grind type: hollow ground with 4" wheel, elongated top grind.....and last but not least beautiful wooley mammoth bark scales...the little crack on the side of the scale was there when I received it an an Burn / Paul an Walt said it was ok that it was there when Paul started and it is only there an dose not compromise its structural integrity.... comes in a custom glass top walnut Latama presentation case made just for this knife as it is a 13"er that is engraved... Latama.... and .... The legend continues. it is in mint condition and i have only ever fired it one time when i first received it . any questions please do not hesitate contacting me... looking for 3,200 o.b.o for this beauty .. I have all receipts for and build sheet from Walt Halucha.
Thanks for looking....Lou. aka WARBIRD

that's a couple thousand out of my price range right now but it's a beautiful knife! I'm usually not a huge fan of filework on knives but it looks so nice on this one.
