Looking for a 8.5" Dalton Cupid

Post by JimBrown257 »

If anyone has a real Dalton Cupid that they want to sell or trade, send me a PM. I am looking for the standard/original 8.5" model. I have been able to find the really big ones and the really little ones but I haven't been able to find the regular size one.

These seem to be hard to find, probably due to a certain movie that made them famous. Hope to have one myself someday. Lots of knockoffs too apparently.

I never even realized that "legit" knife sites sold deliberate clones.

Good eye Chris, I had no idea that legit sites sold Cupid clones either. I guess after The Dark Knight came out the money was just too good with the Cupid clones that even legit sites started carrying them. Here's another site with them:

https://www.bladeplay.com/item--Black-A ... atic--3862

Funny enough though, I checked the clone HQ known as DHGate and didn't see any!

This site, which I have no affiliation with, but gets a bit of everything, has had only 3 Cupids available in the last couple years:

http://www.arizonacustomknives.com/cupi ... 3fPage%3d4

On a side note, these are some other Dalton's that are sweet:

This one was first posted yesterday and is already gone:

What's funny about the Cupid clones, which are sold as the Joker knife, is that they aren't the actual knife the Joker had in that scene. He has the clone of the Smith & Wesson version (I think I've seen it called something like The Exterminator).

Certainly doing your research Pat! Is "Arizona" on the "Good Ones List"? Not affiliated with "AutoKnife"? I know the list was taken down before my time. I'd love to see the Good Ones List established again. I've only read about it.
*EDIT*- my mistake for the affiliation with "AutoKnife"

I don't believe they're on that list. I think it needs updated. They are a bit loose with their descriptions are far as blade movement and details like that. You need to ask questions.

I ordered a Due Buoi forged stiletto from them the other day and they were very helpful.

Arizona is definitely not part of that syndicate.

Sorry for any confusion on my part.

The Dalton Cupid clones are pretty decent for a clone knife. Just make sure you get one of the Taiwan versions rather than the Chinese garbage.
