"LaVespa" was a stamp that Zoppis used. It means "the wasp."
This is not a Zoppis knife.

Were these really made by the Campolines or were they made by Renzo Pacotto for AGA? They did this a lot. Or were the prototypes made by Renzo P, then turned over to AGA to order parts in bulk and then assemble in the AGA shop. They did this too. One of the reasons I find the interactions between various makers in Maniago so interesting and, I think by design, so confusing.

I have one but the blade peeks and it has a fairly weak kick.

Walt Halucha can fix peeking by laser-welding the sear holes to add material to the sear-side. Bill probably could too. Assuming a sear-hole that's too-close to the left side of the blade is the problem :?
