Looking for an old american auto
I'm hoping to trade some Case tested xx era and old remington pocket knives for a nice, old american auto. Let me know if you're interested and I'll provide pics. Thanks.

If you go here, you can find some good American auto knives, but they won't be cheap.

Thank you, but am hoping to trade for one. I have some rare manual pocket knives to swap.

Re: Looking for an old american auto
I have several....ok maybe more, old American autos, some worth more than others but not really interested in trading. If there is an interest dealing with a straight out cash type sale...for a trade...have to be something very special. I am trying to down size in the collections. Moved to smaller house, with a much, much smaller display area.

HA HA HA man!! Ya got me...I just noticed that this was started in 2015! Its almost 2 years old. justlookn...welcome to the forum, note that the posts are dated. I actually would sort of like to get rid of some of my older American autos if there is an interest but terms as I noted above.

Oh...and by the way, I got this knife...from Bob (SD) quite awhile ago, he may have told me where it came from but I don't remember. Wondered if anyone recognizes it and knows anything about it.
Gotta admit, it's unique and a one of a kind customized job!

Markco
Thanks for posting those magnificent American autos.
I have never looked into the Americans as much as i should have and to see the different types and them all laid out like that ...just stunning.
A great learning tool for a layman in American switches.
It is as Julesvane said really amazing what some collectors here must have ,if just one person can make up such a collection.
Thanks for sharing them .

Re: Looking for an old american auto
Your welcome and thank you. Yes, truly amazing to see what has been made and collected over the years.
I have to admit that after having most of my knives packed away for several years I even surprised myself when rediscovering some of what I have and have had.
