I have decided to order a few damascus blades so the customer can see and choose his own blade. The blade then will be sent to the company for knife assembly. Currently available blades are here. Please let me know what you think.

It depends on scale material but it is the same like as if the knife was ordered with any damascus blade = no extra charge.

David- Please pardon my interruption of your thread but I chose to ask you here in case you have some information or someone else has any information on a Czech knife.
I am interested in the Charon,it is a Czech military knife and I cannot find one here in the USA.
If they are available I would like to know how I could get one and if possible the cost in USD's.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for my late response, I do not visit here very often. Anyway, this particular knife is made by Mr. Madaric for only one specific para unit located in Chrudim, Czech Republic. The knife is not officially issued, they buy the knives by themselves by their own money. The cost is roughly 250 USD. If you are not member of the unit you have very limited chance to get this knife. They time to time surface in a pawn shop or auction site for about 400-500 USD.
IMO the knife is not worth the money (not even the base price). Mr. Madaric is very unpopular among other makers, there is a significant hype surrounding his knives - hype created by him and very small group of his friends. If you know the Cold Steel marketing videos then you know how he advertizes his knives. I would not pesonally buy a single knife from him even if it was for 10% of his asking price. But that is me. I can understand that someone interested in Military knives may like the knife and does not really care about the maker. But again - last time I saw one for sale was back in 2013 and it was very expensive.
