WTB Rome tourist switchblade

Post by roostershooter »

I am looking for a tourist switchblade from Rome. These knives are about 7 inches long open and have pictues on the scales. I have found some recently for Venice, but nothing yet for Rome. If anyone out there has one they will part with, let me know.

I am also looking for a similar knife from Pompeii. Anybody out there have examples of these they would part with?

It's a nice Venice, can't help with Rome or Pompei.

Which one would this be? A friend mine sent me a Happy New year picture a few years back that had a bunch switchblades and other knives spelling out the words

Cool picture. That could be the Rome example. Ones I have seen were marked Rome as well.

This one has the Venice Bridge of Sighs on it.
This was a bridge that connected a building that contained a prison, to another building that housed the execution chamber....thus the name!
The condemned would have a last look out the two small windows, before meeting their fate.

Venice was my favorite city of that vacation!

I think that I might have three different ones all from Venice and a mini from Rome.

Probably not necessary what with St. Peter's Basilica on the front and the Colosseum on the back. You won't find these two places anywhere else in the world.

None of these knives is high quality. Were they made in Italy or somewhere in the Far East?

Naw, I don't see it marked Rome but as Natcherly said, it is obvious and ...well there isn't much room for writing. One of the others is marked Venice though.
