Still looking for the cheap old brass butterfly
I asked about this a few months ago but, despite a few close calls, had no luck. So I am putting out the call again.
I would like to find one of these cheap old brass Pakistani butterfly knives. It is not a high-quality knife at all; I used to buy them when I was a kid in the early 90s for about $8 each. If you are wondering why I am trying to find a cheap old knife, the reason is strictly nostalgic, a sentiment I think most of you can relate to when it comes to certain blades.
The main one I want is the brass handle one with seven holes but I would also like to find the brass handle one with no holes.
Also, these might appear to be very similar to butterfly knives sold by most vendors, these ones have a different, more symetrical, blade and the handle is the front of the handle is the same size all the way down. Unlike the common cheap butterfly knife, this one does not tapper inwards as it approaches the top.
Thank you in advance for any help.

If your willing to spend some cash, I will be getting a milling machine soon and I plan on making some brass one piece handle knives.

What do you mean by that? Like a folder?some brass one piece handle knives.
I appreciate the offer but I doubt I'd be interested as it's not that I'm looking for a knife with a brass handle but I am specifically looking for this cheap 80s butterfly knife that I used to have when I was a kid.
And I actually have one on the way to my house right now. It's a little weathered so I am still looking for another. The one I'm getting has the holes in the handle so I still want to find the no-holes brass version.

Right after I made that post it occured to me I didn't check the mail.
I got one today.
Thanks, Steve!
I'm not against seeing any more, though.

That's Cool How did you get that one? You are lucky to find something when you look for it.
