It's a defect but it's beyond me- Snaps like lightning but on it's own
My guess is the seer is not holding the blade in and she has a hair trigger.
It can sit for weeks/months or she can pop after 30 seconds.
I always close my stilettos by pressing the button and releasing after closed so this one may have been a screw-up or just a flawed mechanism.
Anyhow some of you handy dandy fix-it fellas should be able to remedy this without tearing it apart.
The plastic scales are "screwed" on.
Stamped Frank B Italy and has a dagger blade. If nothing else would be a parts knife or look cool in a collection.
25 bucks and she's yours. Needing repairs to my house so I'm digging through my stuff and finding things I can part with....and some I can't but did anyway.
