SOLD Panther Leverlock

Post by Roccomo »

Purchased from a Fl. dealer in 1995 this never used/carried knife is the hardest firing lever I have owned. It has a really nice swirled horn handle and the blade has a Panther etched on it. A great quality knife in 8 inch size.

Real Horn are usually with brass bolsters
The Panther etch was most likely ordered by the seller/dealer, I sold all the ones that were etched "Vagrant Knives". Didn't even save one for myself

They had stainless steel or brass on the real horn, and Barry Adams from Adams Int'l sold a bunch of them with the Panther logo in the 8" and 9 1/2" sizes back in the 1990s. I bought my share. They also came boxed with the name David on the blade, and with a sticker and blade marked Sarfarinox. Very good quailty knives for sure.

This knife does have steel bolsters. It was kind of the 'premium' trim level available at the time. The normal knife was the horn and brass that we've all seen. This knife was about $25.00 more expensive but for that you got a somewhat upgraded knife.

This knife was purchased thru an ad in Shotgun news from an outfit called Discount Gifts and Supply.
