Local pick up/delivery Sarasota Florida

Post by Yorrick »

Can any locals hook me up? I'm here on vacation for a couple weeks.

My current email is metal.shell@gmail.com

I'm looking for a switch, preferably 9", wood or dark horn scales but honnestly I'm not picky.

Thanks.

I believe that Florida is a "switch friendly" state. So a visit to different cutlery shops should be productive. However, for a variety of reasons your choice may be limited to domestically produced items.

^haha damn right

Thanks Vagrant, I'm going to hit up some flea markets. Maybe one of those stall that sell martail arts weapons can point me in the right direction. Although I think they're still illegal. Or I'm wrong?

Quite a few knife dealers that sell auto's in Florida. A couple more off the top of my head are jaxknives.com and http://www.888knivesrus.com. These are quite a ways away in Jacksonville. Sarasota has a knife club. if you do a web search you will find it. They can point you in the right direction.

It's a quote from Hamlet; I just couldn't resist.

Actually, it's been a no-nog holiday for me, too much driving to do.

Jim,

As luck would have it, the roads have been clear for the last two days. We've had rain on and off; the 4' - 6' drifts have been reduced to 2' - 4' of mush. A lot better than the beating we took last week.

So since its legal in florida, the flea markets are stacked.

Thanks bladepeople, now I am among you!

Got a cheapass balisong, a semi-cheapass 9" switch and some cheapass double-action out the front lighter/switch. Being poor rules!

Yeah for sure. They had some AKCs and Frank Beltrames for $100 ish but... I'm poor. And it is my first knife after all.

On a side note, anyone know of a site with picture balisong tricks? (as opposed to video), I'm trying to learn :)
