Nice, except for the cutout in the blade. Had one with the cutout years ago and the blade cracked on one side. It was a cheapo but it is a possibility.

Where did you get it, price isn't bad and it's a looker for sure. Have more knives and guns than anybody needs. Always room for one more, just my opinion.

.
Some specs would be welcome --

OAL?
Blade length?
Blade thickness?
Blade steel type?
Handle material? (steel, aluminum, zinc alloy, etc)
Amount of blade play?

Thanks!

Check out the web site, you won't regret it unless you don't want to spend any money.

Petey, you got me! Went to Viper tech and bought the VT Vader for. $99. Looked alot like the Protec Godfather, good reviews and about $140 less than I paid for my Protec Godfather. Let you know whether I should thank you or cuss you. Looks like they have some nice stuff for a reasonable price!

Sammy, I did check out the site. Different models have different components. Some blades are D2; others are 3Cr13, 440C stainless, etc. Some handles are zinc alloy, some are are aluminum; one was described as having a "lightweight metal overlay" atop steel.

Various models have slightly different sizes; plus, there is an entirely separate line of "mini" knives that are all significantly smaller than the regular line.

It seems like kind of a stretch to offer a piece for sale with zero information offered -- not even the model name, or size, or steel type, or anything.... and when asked, avoiding supplying any answers.

I'm not looking for an argument here, but geez, why all the mystery? I don't think it's unreasonable to just tell prospective buyers how long the knife is and which specific model it is, and so forth. If you were eyeballing somebody else's knife, you would want to know stuff like this.

Sure would but you could pm him if you're interested, looks like it's a small one to me or you could check out the site. Might find that model there but he's probably asking less than they are. Just a suggestion.

The one I bought kinda resembles the god father lines. Nice knife but I wish it would have been just a bit bigger. Should have payed closer attention but it's a nice well made knife and I'm reasonably happy with it. Didn't see much else on the site I couldn't live without but I'm sure they'll come out with more designs down the road. They might be the next new wave of stickers, time will tell.
