I'm sure there are some posts here somewhere about the drama old Skippy caused. He referred to himself as the king of switchblades. Things didn't go well for him. Probably some shit about him on sharperdeals forum too.

I believe that is known as a "half-grind" style blade. Not sure how the name originated.... This is my absolute favorite blade for stiletto knives.

Wish I'd seen this in time to swap my Frank B abalone for it! Oh well...

(Never heard of "Skipper" so I would not have been bothered by whatever sordid history is associated with the piece.)
