Neighbors said they understand the gun rule is meant to keep criminals out of Nashboro Village but they don't believe that prohibiting firearms is the best way to do that.
If guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns,In my neighborhood a majority have at least 1 gun in their home their are a lot of hunters here as well as people who have them solely for protection, something like this would never fly here it would set off a small war.

Here's my favorite part:

Just my humble opinion here, but if we all behaved with a sense of responsibility, we could do whatever we damned well pleased. I know, "all" is an unattainable ideal. Blame the "lunatic fringe"/be self-regulating.

Just my 2 cents here, why don't they just go ahead and put up a giant neon sign at the entrance of the neighborhood that says " Burglars welcome, homeowners are NOT armed for your protection"........

I think we are missing something here. This is an action by a "Homeowner's Association" (Property Manager). Homeowner's Associations' can change the rules all they want, but they cannot pass laws, or make anything "illegal!"

This is just an attempt by gun-hating liberals to force their misguided, politically correct agenda on others. I hope the good people of Nashboro Village don't let them get away with it...

I don't think so. Not in my home.
