No tracks I could see, other than mine and the Dog's :?
"Blood" seemed to cover about 20 meters. It actually looked almost as much like transmission fluid as blood :? Pics were done with a "keychain camera" but color is pretty close.
The dog seemed interested in the area in general but not predominately the "blood" [if that's what it is]. Wrong time of year for a Doe to have fawned there, my first hunch  There did seem to be [some] fresh
Deer scat but we had been shooting there, less than an hour before and why would a Deer go where a person shooting and a Dog attacking sticks and barking and growling and been that recently.
[Any rounds that missed the tree hit a dirt mound behind it so no accidental wounding of anything - I would have seen it, or heard it]
I rubbed some of the snow/"blood" mix on my glove and it left NO stain or odor.
I'm really perplexed - this is weird :!: :!: :!: :!:

I strongly suspect the "Chupa" is largely Ethnic/Cultural and a New-World Hispanic version of the Irish Leprechaun  but much nastier and more dangerous :!:
