oregonblade makers grinder

Post by nathan »

Hi.

I was interested to know if anybody has used or knows anything about these belt grinders.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Belt-Grinder-2x ... 3aafe426cc.

Are they any good.
I live in Australia so there isn't much available here.
I can get 1 from the US and put my own motor on it.

Thanks

I am not familiar with many blade grinder brands/equipment etc but after a little research it seems this is an excellent machine.
High quality, well built and versatile.

Here is a video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-SWLEvnRH8

Grizzly makes a very nice grinder and has a nice feature the Oregon does not offer- It's an extended shaft for a buffing wheel, I have not used one but have seen it in person and it's an excellent heavy duty machine-

Hope this helps.
