MGE is an excellent company 8)
They ONLY sell to dealers
And they only sell firearms to dealers with a FFL :!:
Considering the "hoops" you must "jump through to get a FFL - forget the dealer price :(

And the compromise  The Browning, [take-down/two-piece] bottom of pic, is: light, slim, trim, fast, and more accurate than any take-down has any right to be :!:
[several hundred $]

The Norinco, top of pic, is no longer available :( but had the same virtues and was, REALLY economical  [at the time, 90ish - $100 +/-]

Mr Missa,

The Weatherby has an Anschutz model 64 action and a classic Weatherby stock - best of both wolds.

Al,

I like those Browning autos a lot :D

Missa- If you are set on a "tactical" style 22 then here are a few other options.

Don't know anything about the Chiappa but it looks real nice.

Not familiar with the Pietta V,all I know is it is Italian. What is it?

Love those Browning's and Missa's side-by-side. Nice stuff.
That Weatherby is the most beautiful 22 rifle I have ever seen.
And if it has the Anschutz action then it must be superb.
