And, I've had to watch out for these critters, MORE than the usual joggers/hikers/pedestrians

If you whistle, this one "perks her ears up" but, if you say "over here, sweetheart", she looks right at you

The resort has a "no guns" rule.
But when you can get so close you could kill 'em with a tomahawk, atlatl, rock, or jump them and strangle them it ain't hardly sporting

Funny how some animals seem to know where these places are where they can't be harmed. Around here, I see turkeys walking right down the middle of the road...That is, until turkey SEASON comes around!

The only shooting needed here was from the camera. That's pretty neat.
I wish I would have had my camera a few months back-I was within 6ft of an adult red fox on an old dirt road.
She didn't seem at all concerned about me and allowed me to walk right up to her.
I live in town but have seen some cool creatures right here in my nieghborhood,a red fox(not the same one),groundhog, raccoon, possum's,rabbits, armadillo, lots of snakes and my favorite,a great horned owl and it was an absolute giant. My jaw dropped when I saw it's wingspan.
Also saw a sparrow hawk take a dove out of mid-air right accross the street.

Ya gotta love nature.
