I'll have to remember the name!

Good job Vagrant, Bats are as common as bugs here, but they are small and hard to see, let alone get on film!

I hope that's right, it's based on my attempt to phonetically spell a term I heard once :?
If anyone knows for sure feel free to correct me

I'm guessing more along the lines of a FledemausePanzerbefehlswagen for the batmobile.

And I thought this forum was going high-brow with a thread devoted to an Opera.
Some years ago, my wifey scored tickets to a local production of this comedic work by J. Strauss. Like most operas, the storyline is ridiculous and contrived, but the music, costumes and scenery were fine. I just can't stand all those "classically trained" voices. What comes out of some of their mouths is akin to hearing a 747 take off. One Opera per Decade is my limit.

It is interesting that the association of bats to "flying" mice is both wrong and cross cultural
I've worked with lots of nationalities and German was always the most likely for the "idiom" to translate
