Couple of daggers that I made...
New guy here...Thought I'd say "hi" and share a couple of knives that I recently finished.
Both are made from high carbon tool steel. The first dagger has a 4.5" blade with an OAL of 9". The handle is cocobolo that I recessed for the purpose of wrapping hand cut deer leather in a French twist pattern.
The second dagger has a 3.5" blade with an OAL of 7". The entire knife was given a black oxide bath and then sealed. The handle is made from hand-cut & dyed kangaroo leather.
Hope you enjoy!

I took a liking to MGD when I was in the US of A. Can't say I thought much of any other beer I tried. Most of them were far too weak tasting. But that didn't bother me much cause I'm mainly a bourbon drinker and you blokes have got the whole range of bourbons and so so cheap. I tried them all in the 2 months I was touring the place.
But to the subject at hand... From one knife maker to another I gotta say well done with those daggers. Simply beautiful. The round plaiting on the 'Roo hide looks to be 6 strand in the over 2 method and of coarse it is also the strongest leather you can get which will make it a nice durable handle that will patina nicely over time.
