haven't clicked the link yet. but it looks to be one of those stainless ebay swords. I'm guessing... aluminum saya and grind that looks like this ^ if you want a real sword, http://www.swordarmory.com/katanas/1207gt.htm I've handled these before and they're quite light. but cut very well. good sword for the price.

oh and by the way. welcome to the forum

Greats sites, but here's another that offers affordable hand made katanas. Bought one of the Shinken and even my Sensei was impressed with the quality. They have a nice weigth and feel to them.

I started with Kendo a few years ago and then started iaijutsu. My sensei studied the Muso Ryu and Nakanishi-Ha Itto Ryu styles, don't know about the spelling. He aslo holds a 7th Dan rank in Shorin-Ryu style of katate.

Note to self- Dont ever f*ck w/ Razor

I used a boken (or whatever you want to call a wooden practice katana) to answer the door for a bit when I lived out in the boonies (my version of a baseball bat)

I practice ishiyamaryu batto jutsu, under McCartney sensei. ishiyamaryu is kinda a mix of iaijutsu toyamaryu and alot of other stuff. we train through kata, tomeshigiri (test cutting) and we do some goshinken (duels with padded swords) been doin it for 4 years and I'm getting ready to test again soon.

Mr. Sakura,

Thats neat, really. I don't have any use for all that batta-whappa shit myself. Nothing can beat a well placed bullet.

Best Regard's,
