No experience with this one but, cold steels have generally been good to excellent but overpriced 
I do not care for the [almost closed] handle. Likely to be uncomforteble, with heavy use.

I have seen some with a different style handle.

I know it's a late response but I like the over all knife but in my neck of the woods the open design of the handle would catch on brush.

that knive is a modern style i think it can slice a pieces of wood..
