In more primative and unsophisticated societies, Swords were often claimed to have magical [or Spiritual] properties.
This may [or more likely, may NOT], have any truth to the myth but, it is always good PR
Such "magical" swords, are almost ALWAYS "missing" usually the claim is "WHEN they are REALLY needed, they will magically reappear "to the proper person"
And, people thought "advertizing" was invented with T.V.

Yes like in indonesia,most of kriss have a mysthical entity in that kriss.
sometimes if some one buy it and entity feel "not match" with new owner, the kriss can send back to first owner by it self.
